Photography – Naturally composed

Thank you to talented photographer Matthew Taylor of Naturally Composed who sent us this shot. Matthew is a photography major at the University of Central Missouri and we just know he will be big one day. So watch this space and …

Check out his beautiful shot of a storm rolling in onto the plains of Missouri. Taken in Knob Noster Missouri (check out the map below), you can really appreciate the space of the American Midwest. Awesome.

Taken with a Canon 30D, with f/11, 1/125sec and ISO 100

Photography – ‘Hellllllo Ladies’

‘Hellllllo Ladies’

This isn’t the best photograph in the world but we caught our little mascot cracking out his best pulling pose. He is only 5 months old but he’s got the skillz. You go Zizou…

He’s such a tart!

No stats: This is candid cat cam, you could have taken this with a phone – we just got lucky!

Photography – ‘Got Air?’

Got Air?’

A fast paced action shot of a nutter and his motor cross bike, getting some serious air!

Location – The sticks.

To take this shot:

1/100, fStop 8, ISO 400

You will need: Some patience to ignore the rubbish shots you will take trying to establish settings, functional eyelids to evade mud & grit surprises, a crazy stunt man with his CC’s!

Photograph of the Week – ‘Light Trails’

Light Trails

This is photo is just dammed cool and it was decided upon to be this weeks ‘Photograph of the Week’. Yay, Round of applause….

Light trails created with a very slow shutter speed, a candle and a lot of hurling the camera around to make shapes. Impressive effect for a relatively easy shot!

Photography – ‘Chill Out’

Don’t know where you are and what the weather is like there, but for once I’m surprised to say I’m writing this to you from a rather warm London. With the recent temperamental climate here it makes today feel like a heatwave.

Make the most of it my friends because it’s a nigh on certainty that it ‘aint gonna last! So when you come in from sunning yourself in the garden with your factor 400, or come back from that sneaky extra long lunch break you just had and your looking for something to cool you down a bit – may we recommend this photo – taken by one of Green i Design’s resident photographers in April 08 no less.

A chilly little macro shot reminding us all that no matter where you are or how lovely it is today it’s never guaranteed and this could be just round the corner!! Now run, get your shorts on and catch that ice cream van before its all too late!
